Dr. Alexander graduated from the University of Kansas in 2010 with her AuD. Angela‘s passion is in the treatment of Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). Angela was privileged to have been mentored by Jack Katz, a world leading expert on APD and she worked with Dr. Katz for seven years between 2004 to 2012, building her knowledge and expertise. Following this, Angela worked as an Audiologist in New Zealand. In 2015, she opened her clinic Hear Better Audiology in Taupo, New Zealand, serving all populations. Angela has become one of the foremost authorities on APD and recently was featured in a TedX talk.

Currently President of Lourdes University, Dr. Gawelek has a long and respected history as an educational leader and visionary and during her tenure as President, she has made a tremendous impact on the institution. Under her leadership, the university has achieved its 10 year accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission, gained approval to offer online degree programs and established several new academic programs. Dr. Gawalek will be sharing her vision on how to own your potential.

Dr. Gyl has owned and operated Professional Hearing Services (PHS) in St. Joseph, Michigan for over 30 years. Her single office practice generates 10 times the annual revenue of an average practice. Her motto then and now continues to be, "Work hard, offer the very best to patients, and do whatever it takes to help them hear better."  Dr. Gyl has a passion for helping other women reach for the stars. Owner and Audiologist at Happy Ears Hearing Center in Arizona, Dr. Dewsnup is the mother of a deaf-blind young adult who inspired her to go into the field of audiology. As a single mother of two young boys, she went back to school to become an Audiologist so she could help her son and others who live with a hearing loss diagnosis. Dr. Dewsnup has spoken extensively about hearing loss at various meetings and has been the keynote speaker for multiple conferences.

Dr. AU Bankaitis Smith is the leading expert on infection control in the hearing industry. She earned her PhD from the University of Cincinnati in 1995 where her research publications on HIV and the auditory system led to a niche expertise in infection control. Since joining Oaktree products as vice president in 2004, she is a recognized resource to the hearing industry. Her extensive clinical and business experiences allow her to provide straightforward, practical solutions to providers and business owners. Dr Bankaitis is a DrGyl admin.

Dr. Kingham currently works with practice development groups to help implement an Audiology Assistant or technician into private practice Audiology and medical ear, nose, and throat clinics. She is the Chief Education Officer of Audiology Academy which provides online business training to Audiologists and hearing care professionals. She obtained her AuD from A. T. Still University. Nichole also received the Future Leader in Audiology award in 2012 and was recently appointed to the AAA Board of Directors. She is a DrGyl admin.

Dr. Swanders attended the University of Northern Colorado with hopes of helping people, but without knowing how she hoped to do that. Within a very short time, she learned about the professions of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, earing degrees in both and then went on to obtain her doctorate in Audiology. Whitney has grown her very successful private practice to six locations and is excited to share her expertise in how to use enneagrams to manage your team.

Dr. Mansour-Shousher holds a Master of Science from the University of Michigan and she earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University. Randa is the former owner of Northwest Ohio Hearing Clinic, a private practice in Toledo, Ohio. She is a board member of ANERA (2009-2015), CAAP (2010-present), Toledo Children’s Hospital Foundation (2016-present), and the Toledo Hospital Foundation (2011-2015). Randa was awarded the Distinguished Jefferson Award 2019 for her longstanding and continuous dedication to giving back. Dr Shousher recently sold her practice and will share her experiences in that journey.

Dr. Jessen has published many articles on the topic of Auditory Rehabilitation and often speaks at state and national conferences about the importance of keeping patient education and counseling at the forefront of our hearing loss treatment plans.
